Default PSD -> Web Template

Hey,
I just made a great website template in photoshop. How do I import/use that in dreamweaver? CS3, by the way.

Thanks

in cs3 you use imageready to cut it then save it as an html page and it will do the rest... it creates kinda crappy html, but it works.

If you want to be profeshional you just cut each image 1 by 1 and do what you want to it.

Well, it's news to me that photoshop doesnt continue with image ready, i checked with our version and it's correct it does not have CS3, i checked on wikipedia and it says it was discontinued since CS2. but goes on to say that it is expanding Fireworks.

Apparently they ported this ability over to photoshop, so what you need to do is slice everything, set the links and such, then save it as an html file by doing: File>save for the web & devices...

This will bring up a dialog box, set your settings, then in the save box it asks you how to save it, select HTML & images.

If you select the settings box to "Other..." it gives you advanced options like CSS and such.

Like i said though, you should really learn html if you plan on doing this much, so the minor changes you dont have to redo it all.

I have really started to dislike all these updates they seem to be just getting worse and worse.
