Hi
Can anyone help me. I have seen a website and seen that in its file structure it doesn't use index.htm just uses the / for example a link might be: www.anothersite.com/drilldown/ How is this being done? forgive my nievaty but I was always used to using index as the first file in a sub-root Any advice? thanks Darren |

This is rather simple. The way to do it is to use a file called .htaccess. It's called the re-write rule. Have a look at this site: .htaccess tricks and tips.. part two: url rewriting with mod rewrite. It has some great tips and tutorials ![]() |
